Conversatoin Starter: Strategic Planning Alden Wells is the Director of the Strategic Planning & Performance Management at DC Public Schools (DCPS). Prior to this role, she was the Director of IMPACT Operations, which operationalized the teacher, school leader and staff evaluation system including database development, customer service, value-added and appeals. Prior to working for DCPS, Alden taught first grade in Morrisville, North Carolina. Alden graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in mathematics and a master’s degree in teaching in elementary education, and earned a MPP in program evaluation from George Washington University.
