SDP Convening 2017 has ended

Communities around the world are embracing the philosophy of "open" to crowdsource knowledge and resources to fuel solutions to intractable problems. The 2017 SDP Convening will be about sharing data tools, research, ideas, and insights in order to make our own collective work better for kids. Mathematica Policy Research
Erin Dillon is a researcher at Mathematica Policy Research, where she conducts evaluations of education programs, ranging from multi-year evaluations of career-technical education programs to rapid-cycle evaluations of reading technology applications. Prior to joining Mathematica, Erin was a Strategic Data Project data fellow at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (ESE). While at ESE, Erin worked with the Center on Educator Effectiveness, developing publicly available reports on the performance of educator preparation programs and helping with the roll out of the state's educator evaluation system. Erin has also worked as a senior policy analyst at a Washington, D.C. education policy think tank and as a research assistant at a charter school network in New York City. Between the SDP fellowship and Mathematica, Erin took a year off to travel the world, searching out the best hiking and camping spots. She has a M.A. in education policy from Stanford University and a B.S. in psychology from the College of William and Mary.
