How do you manage and present teacher preparation data in a way that preparation program providers can readily understand and use to make decisions?

Angela Tombari, Research Analyst at Kentucky Center for Education Workforce Statistics, collaborated with stakeholders statewide to revise a Teacher Prep Feedback Report, foreground the information that is most useful for supporting the report’s intended impact. Paul Tuss, Director of the Center for Teacher Quality at California State University, planned and implemented a new data system designed to strengthen the capacity for assessing the quality and effectiveness of teacher preparation programs across 23 university campuses.

In this session, these SDP Fellows will discuss the challenges of data visualization choices and their implication for data use by different stakeholders.
