What metrics are predictive of students’ postsecondary and workforce readiness? How can we use high school data to optimize students’ college placement? How can accountability measures incentivize a focus on college readiness? What are the employment outcomes for college graduates?

In this session, Emily Passias, Director of the Office of Career-Technical Education at the Ohio Department of Education; Scott Secamiglio, Research Analyst at the Kentucky Center for Education Workforce Statistics; and Eric VandenBerk, Researcher/Data Scientist at Minneapolis Public Schools will present their findings from projects that address these questions.

Attendees will discuss school, district and state level work on college and workforce readiness metrics.
