Most education leaders value data analysis but rarely use it. Why is there a disconnect? In this session, three SDP Fellows address how the transaction costs of preparing, accessing, and connecting data contribute to that disconnect by reducing the productivity of data resources.

David Hersh, Senior Director of Strategic Analytics at Camden City Public Schools, will share how to reduce the transaction cost of making connections between disparate data points. Alex Spurrier, Research Analyst at Kentucky Department of Education, will share how to reduce the transaction cost of preparing data for use. Ryan Wilson, Director of Data and Assessment at Kettle Moraine School District, will share how to reduce the transaction cost of accessing and analyzing data.
