Buddy Harris, Director of the Office of Innovation at the Ohio Department of Education, initiated data-based decision making for dropout prevention and recovery schools. Tom Reed, Executive Director of Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, determined how to assess and leverage the collective data intelligence of a data team. Suzanne Wulach, Manager of Data, Research and Evaluation at Newark Public Schools, implemented a school-based continuous improvement cycle.
Using these SDP Fellows’ findings, this session’s three concurrent roundtable presentations each describe insights into organizational capacity to assess and improve program effectiveness.
